Sorry to have stayed away for so long. Last week was school vacation week. Our old friends from Silverdale, WA came down from their new home in Portland, Maine to pay us a visit. The kids hadn't seen each other in over a year, but they played as though they'd just seen each other yesterday. Denise and I had a great time catching up too. Poor Ezra wasn't really feeling well that day, as you can see in the pictures. He ended up with the croup that night and the next. We are hoping he didn't pass it on to Danny, DJ, or Darren.
On Friday, John Vanderslice came through town and played a show at the Middle East. Tim joined him on stage for a few songs. That same night, down the street at TT's, Casey Foubert and James McAlister were also in town playing with Richard Swift. They all stayed at our house before driving on to NYC the next day.
Although we had pretty crummy weather for most of the week, the weekend warmed up and was beautiful. We spent a lot of time out in the yard.

and you got new slip covers for the couch! nice.
yeah, we had to get the new slip covers b/c i wanted the couch to coordinate with a leather couch my parents left behind for us (and the red just really clashed).
