Wall Part 3

We decided to take the rest of it down. There is still a lot of
finishing work to do but we love how it opens up the space! (Tim has
been doing all the work- I've just been following behind with the
broom and vacuum :)

School Vacation

The kids and I spent the first half of the day at the Museum of
Science. The sunny and humid butterfly room made us feel like we were
somewhere tropical for a little while :). It was a good day filled
with experimenting, building, and discovering together.

Neck Warmer

I made this cowl recently- some easy and theraputic knitting at the end of a busy day. My darling Ezra has even been wearing it to school on these cold mornings.

A Hint of Spring

A must on my table this time if year... Even with the 20 degree temps
and an another impending snow storm, it's a small reminder that Spring will get here... eventually. Thank you Trader Joes for my weekly fix.

Open House

This weekend, the boys' school turned 100 years old. It kicked off its centennial celebration with an Open House with displays of the students' work. Here is Noah with his project on the artist Jan Vermeer. After researching and writing about him, the students made those neat frames out of spray-painted pasta! Check out the posts below for more... We are very proud of both boys :)

This just cracks me up- Noah's teacher blew up pictures of the kids' faces and they dressed it one of their shirts. They are hanging all around the classroom. Here is Noah and his closest school friend, Michael.

Here Ez is showing off his diorama on narwhals. Nana came to open house too!

Oona's special spot

I came across this "cozy spot" idea in a blog a while back that
belongs to a Montessori teacher. Oona loves having this matresses on
the floor to read books, feed her babies, and take pretend "nap naps."
