April Vacation Part 2

Today, we drove 45 minutes from Nonnie's house to visit Plimoth
Plantation in Plymouth, MA. The kids enjoyed interacting with the
Native People and the early English settlers. Being that it is Earth
day, it was especially interesting to hear the ways in which the
Natives were natural conservationists- taking only what they needed
from the land. Oona's favorite part was chasing the chickens and
roosters scattered about. Noah was even able to find a pilgrim hat
for his oral report on Governor William Bradford due next week.

So cool. Too bad our school isn't doing the Boston field trip anymore...
