Friday means no homework and a more relaxed afternoon. After a slice of Trader Joe's delicious berry crumb pie, the boys headed to the sunny outdoors to wash the van.
Tim called from work and suggested we use the grill tonight... first time this season. Mmm, burgers.
Later, the boys begged to use the fire pit and invited some neighbors over for s'mores.
A nice start to the weekend :)

I was just checking out the weather over where you are and wishing a bit of it was heading our way...we might get to the high 60's this weekend...sure miss you guys, can't believe it's been 2 years since we visited there last...we'll get there again one day...
oh, ladies. sorry you've had crummy weather! i can completely empathize with that being a downer. it'll get better. spring (and summer!) in seattle is so beautiful.
yes, jen. we really like having the fire pit. it is amazing how entertaining fire watching is... and making s'mores at home makes you feel like camping with the comforts of home :)
ann, i know! we miss all you guys. i keep thinking of all the things we did when you visited... make way for ducking boats, bbq, zoo, coconut iced coffee:). it was so sweet talking with el about it over the phone a few days ago. she remember so much!
