First Day Grade 2

What a relief to start the school year off with no tears from Noah! He was a bit nervous, but walked in with so much more confidence than last year. He kept his grandfather's handkerchief in his pocket, along with a painted ladybug rock that belonged to me as a child. He said the day went great... but, then later tonight asked if it was the weekend yet! Ezra starts next week. He's nervous the day will be long. While Noah was at school today, he kept asking if it was time to pick him up yet, and, "Is this how long I will be in school too, Mom?!" Ahhh... the joy of transitions and changes :)
