Noah Turns 9: Our Backyard Weekend

Whew! What a weekend! On Friday night, Noah had his closest buddies over to celebrate his 9th! birthday. They had a blast playing in the backyard with cap guns, squirt guns, water balloons, the tent and fire pit - (everything a boy could want!) And check out the amazing SHARK cupcakes Nana made!! On Sunday, both sides of the family celebrated Father's Day and Noah's actual birthday with a BBQ and cake.

Soccer!

The boys had a great year with soccer. The final
tournaments were yesterday and Noah's team won the championship. He played goalie and
prevented anyone from scoring on him-he even sprained his finger
making a save. Ezra loved having his daddy for a coach! It was fun
watching both boys improve in their skills. Oona even learned to
cheer for them saying, "Go O-ah, Go Achie (her way of saying Ezzie :)

Strawberries!

This morning we headed to our favorite "no spray farm," Russell Farms in Ipswich, MA for strawberry picking with the Brown family. Although it was super buggy, the kids had a great time picking. When we got home, I was excited to make the easy and delicious jam recipe that I made a few years ago here. No pectin involved- only strawberries, sugar and fresh lemon juice. I already want to make another batch!
