Our Annual Visit with the Hopkins!

Denise and her darling boys drove up from VA to hang out with us for the day. The kids (and moms!) had a blast catching up. They picked up as though they'd only seen each other yesterday :)

Last Days of Vacation

Once again, we headed up for a day trip to Maine, where we dodged some
rain, rode some crazy-after-the hurricane waves, and spent the evening
in quaint Kennebunk.

Vacation Day 3

We mostly stayed around the house today and tried to organize the
basement. We did venture out to Border for delicious chips and salsa
and a yummy Mexican lunch.

Vacation Day 2

Despite the unpromising weather report, we headed up to Maine for
another beach day. Tim and the boys caught many waves on their new
boards. The sun ended up shining most of day!

Vacation Day 1

Tim decided to take a couple days off since he's been so busy working 2 jobs this summer. We are so excited to have some time with Daddy. Today, we spent the day at Canobie Lake Amusement and Water Park. Here's a few photos from my iphone:

Summer Buds

I feel lucky that the boys have really connected with the neighborhood children this summer. Half the time, they don't want to leave the house because they rather stay home and play with these guys! I can't blame them- they have a good time together, despite the differences in ages and gender :)
